I first came to TCP when I was in college and volunteering for Young Life. It was pretty new. The grounds were muddy (no sod yet) and the cabins smelled like fresh wood. I was able to come to TCP several times back in those days. It was an anointed place even then and many lives were changed, including mine, as a YL volunteer, when I came there. Later when I went on The Walk to Emmaus and returned to TCP, I knew I was on Holy Ground again. Participating in the Walk to Emmaus for over 25 years, returning to TCP repeatedly, I never failed to meet God there. I've also served on many other retreats there,and recommended it to everyone I know who is looking for a beautiful holy place for a wedding, retreat, or just some solitude. It's definitely one of my favorite places on earth, and I'm blessed to have spent so much time at TCP. I feel I know every inch of the place. Continued prayers for many more decades of ministry on this Holy Ground.
